Born 21 April 1998 in a family of 5 as the 5th born Chantelle Marufu grew up in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe Attended Luveve Primary school for her basic education, she went to Inyanda secondary school and Matopo High School for her High school studies. Chantelle is currently a Bachelor of law student at the University of South Africa, She has distinguished herself in areas of social dimensions of Justice and legal philosophy among others. Chantelle is passionate about human rights, particularly women and sexual rights, she has a record of civic responsibility in her community. Chantelle is part of JCI, a non-profit organization for young people between the ages of 18 and 40 who advocate for positive change, this organization has consultative status with the economic and social council of the United Nations. She has held three posts since the year of joining which is 2018. She has served as secretary general-2019, Vice president of Business, international-2020, and Treasurer-2021. Chantelle is also currently volunteering as a legal intern at Zimbabwe Women Lawyers Association a Bulawayo-based non-governmental organization that offers free legal aid to women and children on civil matters. Chantelle is a Christian, who believes in being helped by God if one also puts effort towards success or achieving a certain goal.
